Abstract

The TWI (Training Within Industry) methodology was implemented in the purchasing area of a textile company with the aim of improving work quality and customer satisfaction. This approach focused on training personnel to develop their skills and standardize procedures, thus minimizing errors and promoting continuous improvement. An analysis of production activities was carried out to identify errors and waste due to the lack of standardization, and an Excel macro was designed to generate standardized and detailed purchase orders, improving traceability and reducing processing time from 20 to 5 minutes, achieving 90% efficiency.  Applying TWI not only optimized operational efficiency, but also increased the company's competitiveness. Its flexibility to be applied in different sectors makes it a key tool to improve processes, reduce errors and ensure customer satisfaction, establishing a more efficient work environment focused on continuous improvement.
