Impacto del aprendizaje basado en proyectos en materias de física para estudiantes de ingeniería

Abstract

This research work examines the impact of Project Based Learning (PBL) on the significant learning of physical concepts applied in different areas of engineering. For this study, the results obtained from a quantitative survey applied to the students participating in the first mechanical bazooka competition of the School of Engineering were analyzed. It was observed that the project was considered by 79.2% of the students as an activity that allowed them to reinforce their knowledge, 63.4% of the students did not know in depth the theoretical topics involved, 73.3% of the students found the teamwork satisfactory and met the requirements for the bazooka prototype largely. Finally, this study allowed us to identify points of improvement for future implementations of contest-type projects.
